Paul asks ...

Paul Beltis said... Wow! Woo hoo! Very exciting to read your comments & ideas & perspectives, Isaac. Here's one question to start things off: What's the best part of having such a big family, & what's the most difficult or challenging part? Love you & your family!

Paul Beltis
The best thing about having a big family is, I have a ton of siblings. So I already have six jaunty friends. Jaunty means lively and energetic. The most difficult and challenging part about being in a big family is sharing attention and placidly getting along. I have no idea what it's like being in a little family. The smallest amount of kids that have been in my family since I was adopted was four. Thanks for asking.

  1. Hi Isaac!

I love Haitian food and American food. My favorites are Griyot and pizza. Do you have favorites, too?

You are a very smart young man.

    Love,
Kristie, mommy to three children all born in Haiti (by adoption)

  3. You're awfully smart Isaac. Sounds like the best part is that you always have other kids around and the worst part is you always have other kids around. Brilliant. There's always good and bad things about any situation and the good and bad things are usually the same thing. :) Keep up the good work.

  4. I am VERY impressed with both your penmanship and your vocabulary: I don't think I've ever seen someone your age with handwriting that is so neat. You must have worked very hard at becoming so good at it!
I live in Prince Edward Island, Canada and one of my family's favorite places to vacation is in the Dominican Republic. Your mom wrote about the vacation you and your family took there earlier this year. Would you write a post about your vacation there and tell us the good--and bad--about your time there?

  5. I'm going to try to use jaunty (and maybe placidly) in a sentence today. Love your answer, Isaac!

  6. Beautiful handwriting Isaac! I have a nine year old son and he would like to know, "What is your most favourite and least favourite subject at school?"
